Our next visit to Hopi will be Monday, July 2 through Saturday, July 7. However, we'll be there the end of May for a few days to prepare for the July events.
Our activities will include:
- Smaller Family Fun Night type events in individual villages on top of the Mesas rather than the large, all-tribe event.
- Distributing food certificates to many of our elderly friends.
- As well, we're planning to be involved with the Hopi Mobile Library and the Hopi Special Needs department.
We're counting the days to be there :-) Check back periodically as we give more information.

FAMILY FUN NIGHT on the Hopi Reservation, Wednesday July 6, 2011 at the Hopi Veteran's Memorial Center was a great success. Over 1,500 attended and everyone had such fun! As well, over $1,300 was raised through the generosity of Tommy & July Canyon and the Kykotsmovi Store for the Hopi Cancer Patient Travel Fund! (Awesome!!!)
A special thanks to everyone on the team, and to everyone who partnered with us in blessing the Hopi people with a day of family fun! We'll do it again :-)
Also, many elders were blessed with your donations received through our "Adopt an Elder" page. Thank you!

Fun activities for the kids | Bingo and special music for the adults.

A very special Thank You! to everyone who participated by giving and going to the Hopi Reservation as we sponsored the Family Fun Night. It was a great success and saw over 2,200 people attend! We also thank the Hopi Veteran’s Memorial Center staff, the Hopi Police and Fire/EMT for their help.
We were able to connect with many of our Hopi friends and did an impromptu event for the kids in the village of Shongopavi.
